Impact Offering
Each month, we receive a special offering for a mission or service organization. You can give to the mission of the month online at legacyumc.org/give (select "Monthly Impact Fund" in the dropdown) or at the Legacy office.
June’s Impact Offering: Shoes of Hope
Throughout the month of June, Legacy will be collecting an offering to support our own Shoes of Hope mission.
Every August, we get out into the community and host a free event to help elementary and middle school students start the school year on the right foot! Shoes of Hope will be open to the first 200 kindergarten through 8th grade students that register. (Registration for child participants will open on July 1.) This year's event will be on Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 3 pm to 6 pm at South Central High School, near Kiwanis Park in south Bismarck.
Legacy volunteers will demonstrate servant leadership by washing the feet of each child, providing a message of hope, and giving each child a new pair of shoes and their own devotion book. This free event includes food, games, and free haircuts.
Your donation to the June Impact Offering will help us pay for the shoes, devotion books, food, and drinks that we'll serve to the kids and their families.
You can give:
- In person at Sunday worship
- Dropping by the office (9 am – 3 pm Monday – Thursday)
- Any time at legacyumc.org/give (select “Monthly Impact Fund” in the dropdown)
