To address these critical needs we have an exciting plan. It calls for constructing an all new church facility on our property located on the north end of town near the Horizon Middle School. This location will also provide increased visibility in the growing area of our community and will include a new and larger gathering space, a larger and more dynamic sanctuary, a new education wing for our children and appropriate spaces for youth ministry, offices, meetings, and parking.

New education wing for children

We also plan to have eight classrooms dedicated to our Sunday school and Christian education activities with a large assembly activity area in the center of this wing for special and regular activities. Included in this special wing will be a nursery and preschool room and a storage space that will provide space for supplies needed for Sunday school, special events and Vacation Bible School.

Youth ministry area

Our new youth ministry area will include enough space for our youth ministry activities and will include a prayer room, a general youth ministry room, worship space and enough room throughout to interact comfortably. It will also include rooms for offices for staff and storage specifically for youth ministry.

A new and larger gathering space and fellowship area

This new Gathering Space will be a acomfortable and welcoming environment that will relieve the congestion between services so that current members and visitors alike will be able to meet and greet one another before and after services and other celebrations such as weddings and funerals. Within the Gathering Space, a fi replace will provide an intimate setting for small group meetings or personal conversations.

New sanctuary and worship area

The new sanctuary, directly connected to the new gathering space, will seat up to 500 people comfortably for services. Seating will wrap around to face the stage area, which will enable people to better engage in worship in a more interactive and intimate manner. A dedicated, more ample area will be designated for our worship teams to practice and lead our church in worship. Large rooms at the front of the worship space will provide ample storage for music ministry and for seasonal items.

At the front of our sanctuary will be glass windows/doors that will open to a large outdoor worship space freeing our congregation to have outdoor worship times, weddings and other activities, such as concerts.

Administrative offices and meeting space

Each of the staff offices in this area are being designed to function also as adult class rooms. We also will have a conference room near our new administrative offices which will be located near the main entrance to the facilities making it easily found and accessible to everyone. We have included an intimate space in this area that will function like our “Berean Room”, hosting meetings, women’s circles, families prior to funerals, and a wedding staging area.

Parking area

Increased off-street parking will make it easier for members and visitors to access our facilities without having to park on our streets.
